Job Title: Aluminum Windows & Facade Estimator

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Aluminum Windows Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and quotations for aluminum windows, doors, curtain walls, and facade systems. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of aluminum fabrication processes, glazing systems, and material take-offs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Study architectural/technical drawings and specifications to prepare detailed estimates for aluminum windows, doors, and facade systems
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs (glass, aluminum profiles, hardware, sealants, gaskets)
- Calculate labor, material, and overhead costs to develop competitive and profitable quotations
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing for profiles, glass, and hardware
- Review tender documents and prepare cost-effective proposals for bid submissions
- Liaise with the design, production, and sales teams to ensure accurate specifications
- Track project costs against estimates and update pricing databases regularly




- Analyze drawings to identify system types (sliding, casement, fixed, curtain wall, etc.) and recommend cost-effective alternatives
- Maintain records of past estimates, rate analysis, and vendor quotations for reference

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Diploma/Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering (or related field)
- 1-3 years of experience in estimation for aluminum windows, doors, or facade systems
- Strong knowledge of aluminum systems (sliding, casement, curtain wall, structural glazing)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
- Understanding of glass types, hardware, and accessories used in aluminum fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
- Good communication and coordination skill

Preferred:

- Experience working with fabricators, contractors, or facade companies
- Familiarity with industry standards (IS codes, ASTM, etc.)
