We are seeking a highly skilled AKS Engineer with robust expertise in Azure cloud Kubernetes and DevOps practices The role focuses on designing deploying and managing scalable containerized environments while ensuring high availability security and operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Design deploy and manage Azure Kubernetes Service AKS clusters in enterprise Azure environments Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes for scalable and resilient applications Build and maintain CICD pipelines for containerized workloads using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Monitor cluster health performance and availability proactively troubleshoot issues Collaborate with DevOps Development and Infrastructure teams to enable seamless deployments Implement security best practices including RBAC network policies and secrets management Perform cluster lifecycle management including upgrades patching and version control Optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency across AKS environments
- Integrate AKS with Azure services such as Azure Container Registry ACR Azure Monitor Log Analytics Azure Key Vault
- Support production incidents ensuring adherence to defined SLAs and minimizing downtime
Required Skills Experience Core Competencies
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Engineering Strong handson experience with Azure Kubernetes Service AKS
- Indepth understanding of Kubernetes components Pods Services Deployments Ingress Helm charts and package management Solid experience with Docker and containerization technologies
- Azure Expertise Strong knowledge of Azure Networking VNet NSG Load Balancer Application Gateway Azure AD integration with AKS Experience with Azure CLI ARM templates or Bicep DevOps Automation Experience with CICD tools Azure DevOps GitHub Actions
- Handson expertise in Infrastructure as Code IaC Terraform preferred ARM Bicep Scripting proficiency in PowerShell Bash or Python
- Monitoring Troubleshooting Experience with Azure Monitor Prometheus and Grafana Strong exposure to logging monitoring and alerting frameworks in AKS environments
Preferred Skills Experience Microservices architecture Exposure to multicluster or hybrid cloud environments Relevant certifications preferred, Microsoft Azure Administrator Azure DevOps Engineer Certified Kubernetes Administrator CKA
