About The Role We are seeking a talented and proactive Video Editor with a strong foundation in traditional editing techniques and a passion for AI-driven video production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming scripts into compelling video ads tailored for social media platforms, primarily Facebook.

This role involves working closely with our creative team to produce a variety of formats, including user-generated content (UGC), mini-Video Sales Letters (VSL), long-form VSLs, and problem/solution videos. The candidate should be adept at integrating AI tools such as avatar creation, lip-syncing, synthetic voiceovers, and AI-generated footage to enhance storytelling and engagement. The role demands a rapid-paced, detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and adhering to tight deadlines.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in editing direct-response VSL and UGC ads for DTC e-commerce brands. A strong understanding of traditional video editing principles, including pacing, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics, is essential.





Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is required. Hands-on experience with AI video and avatar tools like D-ID, DeepBrain, Higgsfield, RunwayML, or similar platforms is a core requirement, as AI integration is central to our workflow. A proven portfolio demonstrating both traditional edits and AI-assisted videos is necessary to showcase your versatility.

The candidate should demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a keen sense of storytelling, and the ability to deliver multiple high-quality videos daily with quick turnaround times. Excellent asynchronous communication skills and experience working remotely are also important.

Responsibilities

- Utilize AI avatar and lip-sync tools such as ArcAds, LipDub, D-ID, and DeepBrain to create realistic spokesperson videos and UGC-style content.
- Generate and seamlessly integrate synthetic voiceovers and AI-generated footage using platforms like Google VO3, ElevenLabs, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with AI generation platforms such as Higgsfield, RunwayML, or ComfyUI to produce, enhance, and refine video content.
- Recreate viral reference videos with high fidelity, matching pacing, visual structure, and editing style to maximize engagement.
- Adapt scripts into engaging vertical ads (1-10 minutes) optimized for Facebook, incorporating captions, kinetic text, and compelling hooks to capture viewer attention.
- Implement proven direct-response elements such as pattern interrupts within the first three seconds, explicit calls-to-action, and scroll-stopping overlays.
- Edit long-form VSLs (20+ minutes)



when required, ensuring clarity and persuasive storytelling.
- Assemble various assets including stock B-roll, UGC clips, and AI-generated footage, applying color grading, sound design, and motion graphics to produce polished videos.
- Organize and upload completed videos to shared folders with consistent naming conventions, maintaining a structured workflow.
- Maintain and update a shared creative tracking spreadsheet to monitor project progress and revisions.
- Provide structured daily updates via Slack, highlighting progress, challenges, and upcoming tasks.
- Iterate quickly on feedback, delivering new cuts within 12-24 hours to meet project deadlines.
- Optimize exported videos for platform specifications to ensure maximum performance and engagement.
