Role Summary
As an AI & Robotics Lab In-charge, you will manage the daily operations, technical infrastructure, and practical training setup of our state-of-the-art AI & Robotics Lab. You will act as the technical backbone of the lab ensuring all hardware, microcontrollers, and AI software setups run smoothly, while mentoring students and supporting trainers during hands-on STEM sessions.
Key Responsibilities
****- Maintain and calibrate lab inventory.
- Ensure hardware components, tools, power supplies, and workstation systems are fully functional before every batch or workshop.
- Manage stock registers, track component check-outs/check-ins, and raise procurement requests for replacement parts or consumable supplies.
- Assist trainers and educators during practical coding, electronics, and robotics learning modules.
- Guide students through troubleshooting electrical circuits, hardware assembly, and code syntax errors in real-time.
- Set up demonstration models and hardware testbeds before live interactive sessions or webinars.
- Help students design, prototype, and build capstone projects involving basic AI models, Computer Vision, or IoT/robotics systems..
- Ensure strict adherence to lab safety rules and proper handling of tools
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the AI & Robotics Lab.
- Conduct practical sessions on AI, Robotics, IoT, Coding, and Automation.
- Design and develop hands-on projects, experiments, and prototypes.
- Mentor students in innovation, competitions, hackathons, and research projects.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot robotics kits, lab equipment, and software.
- Develop training materials, lesson plans, and lab manuals.
- Stay up to date with the latest AI and robotics technologies and integrate them into the curriculum.
- Ensure proper maintenance, safety, and inventory of lab equipment.
- Coordinate with academic teams for workshops, demonstrations, and technical events. Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics & Communication (ECE), Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
