Research Analyst — General Knowledge Domains (AI Evaluation) Location: Remote Contract Department: Research Operations Working Hours - 9 AM To 6 PM IST About the Role We are engaged in the development of high-quality evaluation data for advanced AI systems, in partnership with a leading global AI research organization. We are hiring Research Analysts for our Generalist stream to author complex, source-verified research questions across a broad range of knowledge domains, including history, geography, sports, entertainment, music, business, and current affairs. This role suits candidates with exceptional general knowledge, proven research ability, and precise written English — including those with backgrounds in competitive quizzing, journalism, fact-checking, editorial work, or the humanities and social sciences.

Key Responsibilities - Conduct in-depth research across publicly available sources, including archives, reference works, institutional records, and established news publications.

- Author original, multi-step research questions with a single, objectively verifiable answer, in accordance with internal quality specifications.
- Verify all factual claims against multiple independent, publicly accessible sources prior to submission.




- Produce complete documentation of the research and verification process for internal review.
- Meet defined quality, accuracy, and throughput standards, completing each assignment in full before commencing the next.
- Adhere to all project protocols, quality checklists, and confidentiality requirements.

Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree (completed or final year) in any discipline, or equivalent demonstrated research capability.

- Exceptional written English, with the ability to draft precise, unambiguous prose free of multiple interpretations.
- Demonstrated research aptitude through one or more of: competitive quizzing, journalism, fact-checking, editorial or publishing work, academic research, or library and information science.
- Genuine subject-matter depth in at least one knowledge domain.
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined, process-driven working style.
- Full-time availability; own laptop and reliable high-speed internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications - Active participation in recognized quizzing circuits or college quiz societies.

- Skilled experience with editorial standards, citation practices, or source verification.
- Reading fluency across archival or historical material.
