Role Description The AI Platform Engineering Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Abroad . This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of AI-driven platforms and tools that support internal operations and client-facing services. The person in this position will manage an engineering team, oversee software development cycles, coordinate integration of AI solutions with existing systems, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Daily activities include collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, defining technical roadmaps, reviewing code and architectures, and establishing best practices for reliability, scalability, and security. The AI Platform Engineering Manager will also mentor team members, track performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Engineering Management skills, including setting technical direction and overseeing platform architecture.





Candidates should possess proven Team Leadership skills to mentor engineers, build collaborative teams, and manage performance.

Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills in modern languages and frameworks relevant to AI and backend platforms.

Candidates should possess effective Project Management skills to plan work, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional delivery.

Candidates should possess Integration skills to connect AI platforms with existing tools, data sources, and third-party services.

Experience with AI/ML platforms, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and scalable microservices architectures is beneficial.

Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and the capacity to make data-informed decisions are important.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience managing technical teams.
