which is why we encourage and enable a wealth of avenues and interesting opportunities for everyone to broaden and deepen their skills and expertise As a global organisation spanning 70 countries and one rooted in a culture of growth opportunity diversity and innovation LSEG is a place where everyone can grow develop and fulfil your potential with meaningful careers Role Description We are seeking a technically strong and strategically minded Engineering Manager to lead development and design initiatives within our Anti-Financial Crime Engineering function This role is ideal for someone with a solid engineering foundation software development solution architecture or systems design combined with experience in delivering complex technical or data-focused initiatives Domain expertise in compliance and or anti-financial crime AML KYC sanctions screening fraud detection is a plus Key Responsibilities Drive the detailed design and delivery of platforms supporting anti-financial crime solutions for areas such as ABC AML KYC and sanctions screening Collaborate with global stakeholders to align on priorities regulatory expectations and delivery timelines Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise and compliance standards Lead and mentor a team of engineers in India focused on preventative and detective solutions for financial crime Manage agile ceremonies and ensure robust engineering practices across the SDLC Required Skills Experience Strong experience in software engineering including in a managerial or lead role Stong understanding of data architecture and data processing Experience with data analysis and data engineering including different database technologies such as SnowFlake Oracle or Postgres Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or SQL Experience with cloud platforms AWS preferred Strong communication skills and experience working with UK or European stakeholders Ability to deliver a project end-to-end including all required components and processes Experience with requirement gathering and project management Curiosity and willingness to learn Preferred Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent experience Experience in financial-crime ABC KYC AML etc banking fintech or regtech environments Familiarity with data governance and compliance frameworks What We Offer Chance to work on cutting-edge technology and engineering solutions in a global setting Exposure to senior leadership and critical initiatives Competitive compensation and benefits A collaborative and inclusive work culture Proud to share LSEG in the India is Great Place to Work certified Jun 25 -
