About the Role

Rama University is looking for enthusiastic, result-oriented, and student-focused professionals to join the Admissions Team as Admission Counsellor / Telecaller. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling student enquiries, counselling prospective students and parents, managing admission leads, and converting enquiries into successful admissions through effective communication and follow-ups. The role combines telecalling and counselling responsibilities to support the University's admission goals.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound calls related to admissions.

Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, eligibility criteria, admission process, scholarships, fee structure, and career opportunities.

Convert admission enquiries into confirmed admissions by regular follow-ups.

Generate and nurture leads received through digital campaigns, walk-ins, education fairs, and referral sources.

Schedule campus visits, counselling sessions, and admission interviews.

Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admission status in CRM/MIS.

Coordinate with academic departments and the admissions team for smooth admission processing.

Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets.





Participate in admission campaigns, seminars, school visits, and educational events whenever required.

Resolve admission-related queries professionally and ensure a positive experience for students and parents. Eligibility

Graduate in any discipline (MBA or Postgraduate preferred).

Experience: 0–5 years in Admission Counselling, Telecalling, Education Sales, Student Recruitment, or Customer Relationship Management.

Freshers with excellent communication skills are also encouraged to apply.

Required Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Hindi.

Strong counselling, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.

Positive telecalling and follow-up abilities.

Target-oriented with a positive attitude.

Knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.

Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work under pressure during admission seasons.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Prior experience in universities, colleges, EdTech, or educational institutions will be preferred.

Passionate about helping students make informed academic and career decisions.

Self-motivated, energetic, and capable of achieving admission targets.
