Accounts Payable Manager - Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee vendor payments, contract management, and compliance within a Fintech environment. The role requires expertise in financial reporting, taxation, and international vendor management, along with a strategic mindset for optimizing cash flow and mitigating currency risks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern accounting tools, automation platforms, and compliance frameworks to enhance operational efficiency.

Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India (Remote)

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely vendor payments.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with global vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor currency exchange rates and implement risk-mitigation strategies for international transactions.
- Oversee contract management, taxation, and financial compliance with global regulations.
- Work closely with legal, finance, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize cash flow and control expenses.
- Lead process automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Supervise, train, and guide 1-2 team members in financial operations.

Role Requirements:





- Proficiency in Zoho Books, and Tally ERP.
- Experience with expense management tools like Expensify, Concur, or FreshBooks.
- Solid knowledge of payable accounts, taxation, global payment gateways (Payoneer, Stripe, Wise), and multi-currency transactions.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Power BI, Tableau, or RPA (Robotic Process Automation) for financial analytics.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (IFRS, GAAP, GST, VAT, TDS, and global taxation policies).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team.

Education: Commerce Graduate (CA Inter / CWA Inter preferred). Experience: 5-7 years in accounts payable, vendor management, compliance, and financial reporting.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (Work from Home)
