About the Role

Oye Happy operates a portfolio of D2C and gifting brands Oye Happy, Propcon, and Happy Tyohar selling across quick commerce platforms including Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and Amazon Now. We are building a lean, largely automated finance function and are hiring an Accounts Manager to own our books end-to-end, working alongside an AI-based accounts payable tool and a Cashbook-Tally integration for petty cash.

This is a hands-on, ownership-driven role for someone who wants to run a complete multi-entity finance function rather than just pass vouchers. You will be the single point of accountability for all book entries, will manage the handoff of GST and TDS data to our CA, and will keep our numbers audit-ready at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Books & Tally Entries

- Pass sales entries (marketplace and D2C) across all entities in Tally
- Pass salary, ESI, PF, and PT journal entries
- Pass GST, TDS, and other statutory journal entries
- Review and approve vendor invoices processed by our AI accounts payable tool before they post to Tally
- Verify petty cash entries recorded in Cashbook and automate posting to Tally via the existing integration
- Perform bank reconciliation across all entity accounts

Compliance Coordination

- Compile and send monthly GST data (GSTR-1 / 3B workings) to our CA; review CA workings before filing
- Compile TDS data (24Q / 26Q) for the CA; review returns before filing
- Track PF, ESI, and PT due dates and ensure timely payment




- Support quarterly advance tax computation with P&L; inputs for the CA
- Track ROC / LLP annual compliance due dates (Form 8, Form 11, etc.) and coordinate with CA/CS

Reconciliation

- Reconcile marketplace settlements (Blinkit/Zepto/Instamart/Amazon Now) against order value, commissions, ad spend, and RTV/damage deductions
- Reconcile vendor ledgers against statements, including supply chain financing arrangements
- Reconcile customer/vendor balance confirmations periodically

Reporting & Audit Support

- Prepare monthly MIS / P&L; by entity and by brand
- Maintain AP ageing and cash flow visibility
- Maintain the fixed asset register and pass depreciation entries
- Account for inter-company transactions between related entities
- Support inventory/COGS booking and stock valuation entries
- Act as the primary point of contact for statutory and tax auditors, pulling required data

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Com / M.Com or CA-Inter (semi-qualified), 4-8 years of relevant experience
- Solid hands-on experience with Tally Prime and GST/TDS compliance
- Prior experience in a D2C, e-commerce, or quick-commerce business strongly preferred — marketplace settlement reconciliation is a core requirement, not a generic bookkeeping task
- Experience handling multi-entity / multi-GSTIN books
- Comfortable working with automation and AI-based tools rather than insisting on fully manual entry
- Able to work independently, take ownership, and proactively flag issues
