Accounting Specialist – Quotes & Pricing (MSP)

Position Summary The Accounting Specialist – Quotes & Pricing is responsible for preparing accurate quotes, pricing proposals, and renewal agreements for new and existing clients of a Managed Service Provider (MSP). This position serves as a key liaison between Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Operations to ensure timely, profitable, and competitive pricing while maintaining financial accuracy and compliance with company standards.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience supporting sales processes within a technology, IT services, or MSP environment.

Key Responsibilities

Quote & Proposal Management

- Generate accurate quotes for managed services, hardware, software licensing, cloud services, and professional services.
- Prepare pricing proposals for new business opportunities and client renewals.
- Review quotes to ensure proper margins, profitability, and compliance with company pricing guidelines.
- Maintain pricing templates and quote documentation within CRM and PSA systems.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales Representatives to develop customized client solutions and pricing structures.

Renewal Management

- Monitor upcoming contract and subscription renewals.
- Generate renewal quotes and pricing recommendations.
- Coordinate with account management teams to ensure timely renewal submissions.
- Review vendor price changes and adjust customer renewal pricing accordingly.
- Assist in retention efforts by analyzing account profitability and pricing options.





Financial & Accounting Support

- Verify vendor costs, customer pricing, and margin calculations.
- Maintain accurate records of quotes, contracts, and pricing approvals.
- Support billing and invoicing processes related to new contracts and renewals.

Vendor & Procurement Coordination

- Obtain pricing from distributors and technology vendors.
- Track software licensing and subscription costs.
- Maintain vendor pricing databases and renewal schedules.

Required Qualifications

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting, pricing, quoting, sales support, or financial analysis experience.
- Robust proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, and data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to communicate in English to support US teams. Using both in written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working for an MSP, IT services company, VAR, or technology reseller.
- Familiarity with PSA and CRM platforms such as ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA, Salesforce, or HubSpot.
- Experience with Microsoft CSP licensing, Microsoft 365, Azure, cybersecurity solutions, or cloud services pricing.
- Knowledge of subscription-based recurring revenue models.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage.
