Role Description The Accountant role at Wealixir Consulting Group is a full-time, in office position based in Hyderabad. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. The Accountant prepares financial statements and management reports, supports budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.

Responsibilities also include coordinating with auditors, supporting statutory filings, and assisting in process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.



The role requires collaboration with consulting and finance teams to provide timely financial data and insights that support client engagements and internal decision-making.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess solid core accounting skills, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements.

Candidates should possess proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.

Candidates should possess knowledge of tax and regulatory compliance, including local statutory requirements, indirect and direct tax rules, and audit support.

Candidates should possess experience with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid Excel skills for data handling and financial modeling.

Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide clear insights.

Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and support client-focused engagements.

Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.

Prior experience in public accounting, consulting, or corporate finance, preferably within a multi-location or global environment, is beneficial.
