Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Mumbai. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monitoring cash flow. The role involves ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations, preparing GST and tax filings, and supporting audits. The Accountant will also assist with budget preparation, variance analysis,



and provide financial reports and insights to management for decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
- Experience with Indian taxation, GST compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Ability to use accounting and ERP software, along with solid MS Excel and spreadsheet skills.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a quick-paced on-site environment.
- Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, MBA Finance) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in accounting within distribution, trading, or related industries in India is preferred.
