Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, ensure statutory compliance, and support the smooth functioning of the finance department as Ratnaakar Impex continues to expand its wholesale and retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain books of accounts.
- Process sales, purchase and journal entries.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers.
- Prepare GST, TDS and other statutory compliance documents.
- Assist in monthly and annual financial closing.
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support inventory-related accounting and stock reconciliation.




- Generate financial reports as required by the management.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply).
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS and basic accounting principles.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred

- Experience in a wholesale, trading or retail business.
- Familiarity with inventory accounting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
