Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Accountant to manage our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax filings, and ensuring strict compliance with legal regulations. You will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data to assist management in decision-making and providing strategic advice on tax planning and savings opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain accurate daily financial records and ledgers.

- Prepare and oversee accurate tax filings, ensuring full compliance with legal and statutory regulations.

- Analyze financial data to assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

- Provide actionable advice on tax planning and identify legitimate tax savings opportunities for the organization.

- Prepare, maintain, and analyze critical financial documents, including Profit & Loss (P&L;) Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and Balance Sheets.

- Process and manage employee expense reports and oversee payroll taxes.

- Calculate, file, and manage Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) on a timely basis.





- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure smooth and accurate Audit Coordination.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Masters degree (M.Com/MBA Finance) or CA Inter will be an added advantage.

Experience

- Minimum 7+years of proven experience in accounting, finance, or taxation.

- Hands-on experience in filing GST, TDS, and managing corporate taxation.

- Prior experience coordinating audits and generating financial statements.

Required Skills

- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of TDS, GST, Payroll Taxes, and corporate compliance regulations.

- Expertise in preparing P&L; Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and Balance Sheets.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime, Zoho Books) and MS Excel.

- Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.

- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple financial activities simultaneously.

- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

Working Days

Monday to Saturday

- Experience handling accounts within the education sector is a plus.

- High attention to detail and a strict, compliance-oriented mindset.

- Ability to coordinate effectively with external tax consultants, government tax departments, and internal stakeholders.
