Role Description The Account Assistant role is a full time, on-site position based in Ludhiana.

The Account

Assistant will handle day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting the preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities include assisting with credit control, managing petty cash, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting finance-related documentation. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve account queries and ensure accurate, timely reporting.

Assistant will support the finance team in ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Accounting and basic Finance to manage ledgers, invoices, reconciliations, and financial records accurately.

Candidates should possess skills in Credit Control to monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, and support healthy cash flow.

Candidates should possess skills in managing Petty Cash, including recording small transactions, maintaining cash balances, and preparing related reports.

Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and clients, and to address account-related queries clearly.

Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance are beneficial.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, attention to detail, and the ability to work with numerical data are preferred.

Prior experience in an accounting or finance support role, especially in manufacturing or construction-related industries, is an advantage.
