Role Description This is a full-time, in office Academic Counsellor role based in Noida.

The Academic

Counsellor will guide prospective and enrolled students through their education choices by conducting 1:1 counseling sessions, understanding their academic background and career aspirations, and recommending suitable online programs and universities. In this role, you will explain program details, admission criteria, and application processes, while helping students compare options using LearningShala’s tools and data. You will maintain accurate records of student interactions in the CRM,



follow up on inquiries, and support learners through each stage of their decision-making and admission journey.

The role also involves collaborating with mentors and internal teams, participating in outreach or information sessions, and providing clear, unbiased information to ensure students make informed choices.

Qualifications

Strong student-focused skills, including Student Counseling and Academic Advising, with the ability to understand individual needs and learning goals.

Career-focused guidance skills, such as Career Counseling and knowledge of Education pathways, to connect academic choices with realistic career outcomes.

Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex information simply.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Management, or a related field.

Experience in academic counseling, admissions, career guidance, or student support in an educational or edtech environment is preferred.

Comfort using online tools, CRM or student management systems, and basic office software.

Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage multiple student cases, and maintain a high standard of integrity, empathy, and professionalism.
