ABAP Developer with MDG experience

Summary The role of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Developer is vital for enhancing master data processes and ensuring data quality across business and IT domains.

Responsibilities:

- Support SAP MDG solutions (workflow, data models, change requests, validations, derivations, UI).
- Configure and develop MDG objects and processes (ABAP/OO, BRF+, Enhancements/BAdIs, User Exits, UI, etc.) based on predefined designs.
- Conduct unit tests and produce technical documentation to maintain code quality.
- Manage integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems (ECC, CRM, middleware).
- Collaborate with IT team, solution owners, and consultants for requirement clarifications and resolving issues.
- Provide L1/L2/L3 support and troubleshoot operational issues to ensure stability.

Must Haves:

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG (configuration and development).
- Experience with BRF+, MDG workflow, and data replication/integration concepts.
- Solid understanding of master data processes (governance, lifecycle, data quality).
- Positive knowledge of SAP data models and tables relevant to the domain(s) (Material).
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across business and IT.
- Fluent in English.
- 10+ years of experience in relevant roles.

Nice to Haves:

- Experience with additional SAP modules beyond MDG.




- Knowledge of advanced analytics tools for data governance.
- Project management experience in data-centric projects.
