Experience Level: Mid-Level (2–5 Years) About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented, adaptable Furniture Draftsman & 3D Interior Visualizer to join our team. This role bridges the gap between furniture product manufacturing and spatial design. You will be responsible for creating precise 2D production/shop drawings for custom furniture, as well as developing high-quality 3D interior visualisations.

This is an ideal role for someone who has moved past entry-level drafting and possesses a practical understanding of how furniture is built, materials come together, and spaces are visually structured.

Key Responsibilities - 2D Production & Shop Drawings: Develop millwork details, comprehensive joinery plans, cut lists, and assembly drawings for custom furniture pieces ready for factory/workshop execution.

- 3D Interior Visualization: Create realistic 3D spatial renders and product presentations that showcase furniture integrated into complete interior settings.
- Workshop & Fabrication Coordination: Coordinate closely with production teams, craftsmen, and vendors to resolve structural details, test prototypes, and ensure production feasibility.
- Material & Hardware Specification: Select and detail hardware, solid wood frameworks, natural materials (cane, weave, upholstery),



and metal elements in technical sheets.
- Revisions & Quality Control: Review production prototypes against drawings, making precise updates as required during the manufacturing cycle.

Candidate

Profile & Qualifications - Experience: 2 to 5 years in custom furniture drafting, product technical design, or interior production documentation.

- Software Mastery: -2D Drafting: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD. -3D & Rendering: Proficiency in SketchUp, soildworks or Rhino, paired with V-Ray or similar.
- Post-Production: Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for render touch-ups.
- Technical Knowledge: Good working knowledge of joinery techniques, wood behavior, hardware fittings, and spatial dimensions.
- Workplace Style: Independent enough to take ownership of production drawings from start to finish, while staying collaborative with production teams.
