Job Description – Architectural Draftsman

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to join our design team in Ahmedabad. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings, working drawings, and technical documentation based on concepts provided by architects and designers.
The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of drafting standards, construction detailing, and software proficiency in AutoCAD and related design tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and detailed working drawings.
- Develop GFC (Good for Construction) drawings and coordination drawings.
- Modify and revise drawings based on feedback from architects and project teams.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior teams for drawing accuracy.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building regulations and project standards.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation systematically.
- Visit sites when required for measurements and execution coordination.
- Assist in preparing BOQs and technical documentation if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Draftsmanship.
- 2–5 years of experience in architectural drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, or other drafting/design software is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and detailing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
- Ability to understand architectural concepts and convert them into execution drawings.
- Familiarity with municipal approval drawings will be preferred.

As per industry standards and candidate experience.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
