Job Summary

GeoVista Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Drone Operator to independently manage drone survey operations, aerial data processing, and project coordination for GIS, infrastructure, telecom, and engineering projects across India.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute drone surveys in compliance with DGCA regulations.
- Operate RTK/PPK-enabled drones for topographic, corridor, utility, volumetric, and 3D mapping surveys.
- Conduct pre-flight planning, equipment inspections, and maintain flight logs and regulatory documentation.
- Process drone data using DJI Terra, Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, Global Mapper, ArcGIS/QGIS, and CloudCompare (preferred).
- Generate Orthomosaics, DEMs, DSMs, Point Clouds, Contours, and 3D Models.
- Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and project deliverables.
- Coordinate with Survey, GIS, Engineering, and Project teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Prepare daily progress reports and resolve field-level challenges.
- Maintain drones, GNSS/RTK equipment, batteries, and accessories.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, GIS, Remote Sensing, or a related field.




- Minimum 3 years of experience in professional drone operations.
- DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (Preferred).
- Experience in infrastructure, telecom, power, railways, highways, mining, or utility projects.

Technical Skills

- DJI Enterprise Drone Series (Mavic 3E, Matrice Series, Phantom RTK, etc.)
- RTK/PPK Survey Methodology
- GPS/DGPS Survey Techniques
- GIS Software (ArcGIS/QGIS)
- Drone Mission Planning & Data Processing Software
- Microsoft Office

Desired Skills

- Ability to work independently and train junior team members.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work at remote project locations.

Mandatory Requirements

- Own a high-performance laptop suitable for drone data processing.
- Willingness to travel across India.
- Valid Driving License (Preferred).

Preferred Project Experience

Candidates with experience in BharatNet, Telecom, Power Transmission, Railways, National Highways, Smart Cities, Mining, Utility Corridor Mapping, or large-scale GIS and Remote Sensing projects will be given preference.
