We are currently hiring IT Support Executive / Technician !!! (Experience in FMCG/ Food Processing/ Beverage sector mandatory)

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Keys & responsibilities:

1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

- Act as the first point of contact for employees or clients experiencing technical issues (via helpdesk tickets, email, phone, or in-person).
- Diagnose and resolve hardware problems (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices) and software glitches (OS issues, productivity suites, specialized corporate apps).
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, VPN configurations).

2. System Installation & Maintenance

- Set up and configure new workstations, including hardware assembly, operating system installation (Windows, macOS, Linux), and standard software provisioning.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords using tools like Active Directory or Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace admin centers.
- Perform regular software updates, security patches, and hardware upgrades (e.g., replacing RAM or storage drives).

3.



Security & Data Management

- Ensure antivirus software is up to date and active on all endpoints.
- Assist in routine data backup operations and facilitate data recovery when hardware fails.
- Educate staff on basic cybersecurity best practices, such as recognizing phishing attempts.

4. Asset & Documentation Management

- Maintain an accurate inventory of all company IT assets, software licenses, and peripheral equipment.
- Document technical issues, steps taken to resolve them, and internal processes to build a robust knowledge base.

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a IT Support Executive / Technician(Experience in the FMCG sector is highly Preferable).

Qualification:

Diploma in Hardware & Networking needed.
