Position:- Junior Accountant

Experience:- 2.5 – 4 Years

Location:- Ahmedabad

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal

candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting operations, statutory compliance, taxation, and

financial reporting. The candidate should possess solid analytical skills, maintain accuracy in financial records,

and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

● Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.

● Record journal entries, payments, receipts, and bank transactions.

● Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.

● Prepare and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.

● Process invoices, purchase entries, and expense claims.

● Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

● Prepare MIS reports and financial statements as required by management.

● Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory regulations.

● Assist in GST, TDS, and Income Tax return preparation and filing.

● Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and internal departments.

● Maintain fixed asset registers and accounting documentation.





● Support payroll accounting and related financial reconciliations.

● Ensure timely completion of all accounting activities with accuracy and confidentiality.

● Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

● Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and Tax Collected at Source (TCS)

● Income Tax Act, 1961 (applicable accounting and compliance provisions)

● Professional Tax (PT) compliance

● Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees' State Insurance (ESI) accounting and statutory compliance

● Knowledge of the latest amendments, notifications, and regulatory updates issued by the Government of India,

GST Council, CBDT, and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA)

Required Skills

● Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.

● Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.

● Experience in bank reconciliation and ledger management.

● Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent communication and organizational skills.

● Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
