Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Android Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Build clean, maintainable, and reusable code following Android development best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/services.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and crashes.
- Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with Android standards.
- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
- Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
- Stay updated with the latest Android technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack components.
- Good understanding of MVVM, MVC, or Clean Architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON parsing, and Retrofit/Volley.




- Knowledge of SQLite, Room Database, and local data storage.
- Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
- Familiarity with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics).
- Knowledge of Material Design guidelines and responsive UI development.
- Understanding of dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
- Experience with Gradle build tools and application deployment.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
- Knowledge of Jetpack Compose.
- Experience integrating payment gateways, maps, push notifications, and social logins.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Android applications.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an added advantage.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of skilled Android application development experience.
- Published one or more Android applications on the Google Play Store is preferred.
