The AV Pre-Sales Engineer works closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design Audio-Visual (AV) solutions. The role involves preparing technical proposals, BOQs, presentations, and providing technical support before project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand customer requirements through meetings and site surveys.
- Design AV solutions for boardrooms, meeting rooms, auditoriums, classrooms, and video conferencing setups.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantity), BOM, and technical proposals.
- Create solution diagrams, schematics, and system layouts.
- Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for product selection and pricing.
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Support the sales team during customer meetings and RFP/RFQ responses.
- Ensure smooth handover of projects to the implementation team.

Required Skills





- Knowledge of Audio Visual systems and Video Conferencing solutions.
- Understanding of AV brands such as Logitech, Poly, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Bose, JBL, Sennheiser, etc.
- BOQ preparation and proposal writing.
- Basic networking knowledge.
- AutoCAD/MS Visio (preferred).
- MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Good communication and presentation skills.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field.
- Freshers to experienced candidates (depending on the company).
