Job Description (JD) – Senior Resident (Anaesthesiology)

Position: Senior Resident – Anaesthesiology
Department: Anaesthesiology
Qualification: MBBS with MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology and valid State Medical Council/NMC Registration.
Experience: As per NMC norms.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative anaesthesia care.
- Conduct pre-anaesthetic evaluations and patient monitoring.
- Manage ICU, emergency, trauma, and labour room anaesthesia services.
- Participate in Code Blue and emergency resuscitation.
- Maintain accurate medical records and anaesthesia documentation.
- Assist in teaching MBBS students, interns, and junior residents.
- Participate in departmental academic activities, CMEs, and research.
- Ensure compliance with NMC, MUHS, NABH, and hospital protocols.
- Perform rotational duties, including night shifts and emergency on-call services.
