JOB DESCRIPTION

We seek a detail-oriented and adaptable certified cost accountant to join our finance team at

PIONEER CARBIDE PRIVATE LIMITED.

Your cost accounting role will require you to prepare standard cost reports, monitor and analyse inventory in Tally, raw materials and spares costing analysis, and track variances. You will also be required to monitor other accounting domains outside of costing, which will include maintaining and reviewing the documentation of inward and outward consignments and bookkeeping in Tally software if required.

Objectives of this role

- Develop strategies to reduce costs in production by identifying and mitigating cash leakages, abnormal consumption and inefficient production and operational processes.
- Prepare reports by collecting information and data points from various departments within the organisation.




- Investigate discrepancies in financial records and perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Conduct regular audits of the industrial practices and ensure compliance with the standard regulations.
- Research material costs to ensure the accuracy of the information in the company’s accounting system.
- Participate in physical inventory counts to ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
- Monitor the accumulation of all direct labour, overhead, and other manufacturing-related expenses.

Skills and qualifications

- Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
- Proficiency in software such as Tally and MS-Office, and well-acquainted with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Aptitude for mathematics, statistics, and various cost analysis techniques.
- Ability to use MS-Excel to prepare analytical and comparative cost sheets.
- Willingness to work and adapt in an industrial setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹90,000.00 per month
