- Conduct engaging offline chess classes for children in apartment communities.
- Teach beginner and intermediate level students using a structured curriculum.
- Explain chess fundamentals, tactics, strategies, and game analysis in a simple and interactive manner.
- Encourage students to participate in tournaments and monitor their progress.
- Create a fun, disciplined, and motivating learning workplace.
Requirements
- Strong practical knowledge of chess with the ability to teach basic and intermediate concepts.
- Professional chess playing experience (FIDE-rated or tournament experience preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and the ability to keep them engaged.
- Patient, energetic, and responsible.
- Willingness to travel to apartment communities in Hoodi, KR Puram, Whitefield, and Brookefield for offline coaching.
- Prior coaching experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience coaching children.
- Ability to conduct demo sessions and chess workshops.
Good to have:
- FIDE Rating or AICF tournament experience.
