We are seeking a skilled Multiphase Flow CFD Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) principles and experience in applying CFD tools to solve complex multiphase flow problems. He / She will be responsible for conducting CFD simulations to analyse and optimize fluid flow in a variety of industrial applications.
EducationMaster’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering with thesis work done in CFD modelling and simulation
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct CFD simulations of multiphase flow problems using commercial CFD software, such as ANSYS Fluent or STARCCM+
- Develop and validate CFD models for a variety of applications, including oil and gas, chemical, and power generation
- Analyze CFD results to identify and evaluate fluid flow patterns, pressure drops, and heat transfer characteristics
- Provide recommendations for design improvements based on CFD results
- Participate in the development of CFD methodologies and best practices
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists from other disciplines to solve complex engineering problems
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to document CFD results and findings
Requirements & Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering with thesis work done in CFD modelling and simulation
- Strong understanding of multiphase flow theory and application
- Proficient in CFD software, such as ANSYS Fluent or STARCCM+
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
