Job Title: MBBS Doctor – Skin & Hair

Job Description

Rootwise Aesthetics is looking for a dedicated MBBS Doctor with a strong interest in skin and hair health to join our clinic in RS Puram, Coimbatore. You will handle outpatient consultations, diagnose common dermatological conditions, perform basic aesthetic procedures, and deliver patient-centric care. This is an excellent opportunity for doctors who wish to build a career in clinical and cosmetic dermatology.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed consultations for patients with skin and hair concerns including acne, pigmentation, hair fall, dandruff, ageing, warts, and infections.
- Diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate medical treatments (topical/oral medications, lifestyle advice).
- Perform non-surgical procedures under supervision/training, such as:
- Chemical peels
- PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) for hair and skin
- Microneedling / Derma roller
- Comedone extraction
- Cryotherapy and cautery for minor lesions
- Assist senior dermatologists in laser hair reduction, skin tightening, and injectable procedures (training provided as needed).
- Educate patients on skincare routines, sun protection, and home care.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and follow up with patients.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and clinic SOPs.
- Collaborate with the clinic manager and support staff for smooth patient flow.

Qualifications & Requirements





- Education: MBBS degree from a recognized university (NMC/MCI registered).
- Experience: 0–3 years; freshers with a passion for dermatology are welcome. Prior experience in a skin or hair clinic is an advantage.
- Preferred Certifications (not mandatory): Diploma in Dermatology (DDV/DVD), Fellowship in Cosmetology, or certified course in Aesthetic Medicine.
- Skills:
- Sound clinical knowledge of common skin and hair disorders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of Tamil is a plus).
- Empathetic, professional bedside manner.
- Basic computer literacy for clinic software.
