Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Head – SAP Business One to lead our ERP and Web technology initiatives. The role involves overseeing architecture, deployment, customization, and integration of SAP Business One across business functions, ensuring scalability, compliance, and performance. Relevant experience expected is minimum 10 years. Must have led a team of
Technical Consultants with SAP Business One Development Skills, Web Technologies, System Integration, Information Security and related domains.

Responsibilities

ERP Strategy & Leadership
1. Define and execute the SAP Business One technical roadmap aligned with
business objectives.
2. Lead ERP architecture design, including on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid
deployments.
3. Ensure system scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery planning.
Implementation & Customization
1. Oversee end‑to‑end implementation projects, upgrades, and migrations.
2. Manage customization of modules, add‑ons, and integrations with third‑party
applications.
3. Ensure compliance with best practices and SAP standards.
Technical Governance
1. Establish coding, testing, and documentation standards for SAP Business One
development.
2. Monitor system performance, security, and data integrity.
3. Drive automation, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Management
1. Lead and mentor a team of SAP consultants,



developers, and support
engineers.
2. Coordinate with functional heads to translate business requirements into
technical solutions.
3. Manage vendor relationships and external consultants.

Primary Skills

1. 10+ years of SAP Business One experience, with at least 5 years in a
leadership role.
2. Strong expertise in:
a. SAP HANA & SQL Server backends
b. Add‑on development (SDK, B1if, DI API, Service Layer)
c. Integration with banking, CRM, and third‑party systems
3. Proven track record in large‑scale ERP deployments and distributed
environments.
4. Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID integration and cloud hosting models.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Secondary Skills

1. Experience with SAP Business One on HANA high‑availability deployments.
2. Familiarity with ERP cost benchmarking and IT vendor negotiations.
3. Exposure to manufacturing, distillery, or FMCG industries.
4. Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.

Soft Skills

1. Good in written / oral communication
2. Good negotiation skills
3. Valuable Inter-personal skills

Educational Background

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
