Job Description – SMS/CCM Night Incharge

Position: SMS/CCM Night InchargeLocation: M R Enterprises, BhilaiShift: Night Shift Only (Permanent Night Duty)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SMS/CCM Night Incharge to independently manage all Steel Melting Shop (SMS) and Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) operations during the night shift. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production, maintaining quality standards, coordinating manpower, and resolving operational issues without supervision.

This is a permanent night shift position. Candidates who are not comfortable working night shifts should not apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise complete SMS and CCM operations during the night shift.
- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor furnace, CCM, and auxiliary equipment performance.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdowns and emergency repairs.
- Ensure safe work practices and strict compliance with safety procedures.
- Monitor manpower deployment and shift discipline.
- Maintain production records, heat reports, and shift handover reports.




- Ensure proper use of raw materials, alloys, and consumables.
- Minimize downtime, breakouts, and production losses.
- Report any major operational issues immediately to senior management.

Requirements

- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related Engineering.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in SMS/CCM operations.
- Strong knowledge of induction furnace, continuous casting, and production planning.
- Ability to handle emergencies and make quick operational decisions.
- Good leadership and communication skills.

Working Conditions

- Permanent Night Shift
- Weekly off as per company policy.
- Candidates must be physically fit and willing to work in an industrial environment.

Preferred

- Experience in billet casting operations.
- Familiarity with SMS production reporting and quality control systems.
- Experience leading a team during independent night operations.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
