THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our technical team and contribute to building next-generation ERP solutions for Indian SMEs. You will work on Frappe/ERPNext implementations, custom application development, backend optimization, and emerging initiatives in AI-powered enterprise platforms. This is a hands-on role where your code directly impacts the operational efficiency of manufacturing units, construction firms, and commodity trading businesses across central India.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop, customize, and optimize Frappe applications and ERPNext modules for client-specific requirements
- Design and build robust backend APIs and integrations with third-party systems (accounting, logistics, inventory, manufacturing sensors)
- Optimize database queries and application performance; debug and troubleshoot production issues
- Develop custom workflows, automations, and business logic aligned with SME operational needs
- Contribute to Profezzo's emerging product portfolio (ConERP, RAIZZO, CREW workforce platform, Profezzo AI)
- Write clean, maintainable code; participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Collaborate with project leads, business analysts, and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of professional Python development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python, including OOP, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with Frappe framework or ERPNext development (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM concepts
- Proficiency with Git version control and command-line tools




- Problem-solving mindset with an ability to debug complex issues independently
- Clear communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams

NICE-TO-HAVES

- Published or contributed to open-source projects (especially Frappe/ERPNext)
- Experience with manufacturing, construction, or metals/minerals operations
- Familiarity with REST API design, webhook systems, and event-driven architecture
- Experience with Docker, Linux deployment, or cloud hosting (AWS, Hetzner)
- Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks or interest in agentic systems and LLM integration
- Understanding of business processes in SME operations
