- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and backend services development
- Extensive experience with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) tools and components (e.g., ITX Designer, ITX Toolkit, ITX Runtime Environment)
- Strong understanding of data transformation processes, mapping, and routing using ITX
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex ITX job failures and performance issues
- Experience with DataPower
- Experience with SQL database integration, MQ connectivity, etc.
- Automation/scripting experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Ability to identify impact analysis and provide resolution or escalation
- Robust verbal communication skills capable of presenting technical details to non-technical audiences

Responsibilities / Expectations from the Role
- Provide day-to-day support for IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) jobs and data transformation processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data transformation, message flows, and ITX jobs
- Perform root cause analysis for failed ITX jobs, ensuring timely identification and resolution
- Address integration issues including data inconsistencies and transformation errors between ITX and other applications
- Optimize ITX jobs to improve performance, reduce processing time, and minimize resource usage
- Perform patch management and routine maintenance tasks for ITX and associated systems
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to move ITX jobs through development stages, ensuring proper testing and quality assurance
- Support integration efforts between ITX and middleware/data systems (e.g., message queues, databases)
- Document troubleshooting steps and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing
- Stay updated on IBM technologies and apply relevant innovations to ongoing projects
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
