Senior Site Engineer – Building Construction

Job Summary

We are looking for a capable, hardworking, and highly experienced Senior Site Engineer to independently manage the execution of a building construction project at Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad.

The candidate must have more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the construction of RCC buildings and should have independently handled building sites, manpower, subcontractors, measurements, quality, safety, and daily execution activities.

This is a senior site-based position requiring strong technical knowledge, discipline, ownership, and the ability to resolve day-to-day construction issues without continuous supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently plan, supervise, and execute RCC building construction works.
- Handle excavation, foundations, RCC structures, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, and finishing works.
- Study GFC drawings, structural drawings, BOQ, specifications, and work orders.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and the project management team.
- Plan daily and weekly work fronts and ensure achievement of project targets.
- Manage site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, labour, machinery, and materials.
- Check reinforcement, shuttering, line, level, dimensions, and concrete readiness before casting.
- Monitor quality of construction and ensure compliance with approved drawings and technical specifications.
- Prepare measurements,



quantity calculations, material reconciliations, DPRs, progress reports, and subcontractor bills.
- Identify drawing discrepancies, site constraints, quantity variations, additional items, and delays.
- Maintain proper site records, inspection requests, test reports, pour cards, checklists, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and proper housekeeping at the site.
- Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of construction materials.
- Prevent material wastage and monitor productivity, cost, quality, and progress.
- Take complete responsibility for timely and technically correct site execution.

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet all the following requirements:

- Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil Engineering only.
- Strictly more than 10 years of relevant construction-site experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience in the construction of RCC buildings.
- Must have independently handled at least one major building construction site.
- Solid experience in civil, structural, masonry, waterproofing, finishing, and related building works.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and services drawings.
- Strong knowledge of site measurements, quantity calculations, billing, quality control, and construction sequencing.




- Willingness to work full-time at the Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad project site.

Experience That Will Not Be Considered

Candidates whose primary experience is limited to the following will not fulfil the requirement:

- Road or highway works
- Bridge or flyover construction
- PEB or industrial shed works
- Interior fit-out works only
- Infrastructure or utility works without building experience
- Maintenance or repair works only
- Office-based planning, billing, or estimation roles without substantial site execution experience
