Role Summary:

The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire quality assurance and control processes in the Continuously Transposed Conductor (CTC) products. This includes establishing quality standards, monitoring production, leading audits, handling customer complaints, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Quality Strategy & System Management: Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001:2015, IEC 60085, and customer-specific standards.

Lead the strategy for APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), FMEA, and Control Plans specific to CTC production processes.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to reduce scrap rates and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)





- Supplier Quality Management: Work closely with suppliers to ensure that all raw materials, components, and parts meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Product Inspections & Testing: Oversee all stages of product inspection, including incoming parts, in-process checks, and final inspections, to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Root Cause Analysis & CAPA: Identify and investigate root causes of quality issues in the production process and lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure compliance with all automotive regulatory and industry standards. Lead internal and external quality audits to maintain certifications and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement efforts in production processes by utilizing Six Sigma, Lean, 5S, and other automotive-specific methodologies to improve product quality, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
- Customer Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints related to product quality and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
- Training & Development:



Lead quality training programs to ensure employees are knowledgeable about quality standards and best practices, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, prepare detailed reports for senior management, and implement strategies to improve quality metrics.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Mechanical / Electrical) or relevant field.
- Experience – Minimum 10- 15 years of experience in quality assurance management, preferably from manufacturing industry and preferred minimum managerial experience of at least for 5 years in CTC Product.
- Standards Knowledge – In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and other relevant quality standards.
- Technical Expertise – Proficiency in quality tools such as 5S, 8D, FMEA, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, and SPC, MSA.
- Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, foster collaboration, and drive results in a quick-paced manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- IT Skills - Experience with ERP systems – QA module (Microsoft Dynamics) will be an added advantage. Knowledge in MS Excel, MS Words & MS PowerPoint is mandatory.

- Factory-based role with regular interactions on the shop floor and preferred a person familiar with shop floor.
