Job Title: Video Editor & Content Creator (Reels, Podcasts & Videography)

About the Role

We are looking for an end-to-end Video Editor and Videographer who can own our visual storytelling. You will be the creative engine behind our long-form podcasts, fast-paced social reels, and high-quality on-ground videography. The ideal candidate isn’t just a button-pusher; you understand pacing, audience retention, and how to adapt a core message for different platforms.

Core Responsibilities1. Short-Form Content (Reels, Shorts)

- High-Retention Editing: Edit dynamic, hook-driven short-form videos optimized for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
- Repurposing: Mine long-form podcast episodes and interviews for the most engaging 30- to 60-second clips.
- Visual Hooking: Implement engaging captions, motion graphics, sound design, and b-roll to maximize viewer retention and algorithm reach.

2. Podcast & Long-Form Production

- Multi-Cam Editing: Edit full-length video podcasts using multi-camera switching, ensuring smooth transitions and pacing.
- Audio & Color: Perform professional color grading and audio mixing/cleanup (removing background noise, balancing levels) to ensure broadcast-quality output.
- Packaging: Create compelling intros, outros, and lower-thirds for all episodic content.

3. Videography & Set Production

- Shoot Execution: Operate cameras, manage lighting, and set up audio equipment for in-house podcasts, interviews, and on-location shoots.
- Set Design: Ensure the framing, lighting,



and background of our recording spaces look professional and on-brand.
- Asset Management: Organize and manage all raw footage, project files, and finished assets for easy retrieval.

Who You Are & What You Bring

- The Tech Stack: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Camera Competency: Hands-on experience operating mirrorless/cinema cameras (e.g., Sony FX3, A7SIII, Canon EOS R series), lighting grids, and audio recorders (Zoom, Rode, DJI).
- AI-Forward Workflow: You are comfortable leveraging modern AI tools (like Descript, Opus Clip, or Adobe’s AI features) to automate tedious tasks, clean up audio, and speed up your rough cuts.
- Culture & Values: You operate with extreme integrity and rationality. You take ownership of your projects, communicate honestly about deadlines, and are emotionally available to collaborate openly with the founding and marketing teams.
- Trend Fluent: You consume a lot of content and inherently understand the current aesthetic and pacing trends on up-to-date social platforms.

Portfolio Requirements

To be considered for this role, please submit a portfolio or reel that explicitly includes:

- At least two examples of short-form vertical videos (Reels/Shorts) featuring captions and motion graphics.
- At least one example of a multi-cam long-form edit or podcast.
- Examples of raw footage you shot yourself demonstrating your understanding of lighting and framing.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
