About the Role

Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) is seeking a motivated Counsellor – Online Programmes & Micro-credentials to manage online and tele-counselling interactions with prospective learners, convert leads into registrations, and support the sales of open career development programmes. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in EdTech, executive education, tele-sales, or B2C education counselling who are passionate about helping working professionals achieve their learning goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle online and tele-counselling enquiries from prospective learners.
- Convert leads from various sources into confirmed registrations.
- Understand learner requirements and recommend suitable online programmes and micro-credentials.
- Support the sales of open programmes for working professionals and executives.
- Follow up consistently with prospective learners to improve conversion rates and enrolments.
- Maintain accurate records of lead status, counselling outcomes, and registrations.




- Coordinate with the Marketing and Programme teams to support admissions and promotional activities.
- Work towards monthly enrolment and revenue targets.

Qualifications

- BBA or MBA

Experience

- 2–3 years of experience in EdTech, tele-sales, executive education, open programme sales, or B2C education counselling.

Preferred Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong persuasion and relationship-building skills.
- Lead conversion and follow-up discipline.
- Customer-centric counselling approach.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and basic reporting.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
