- Cost Analysis - The Estimating Engineer evaluates material, labor, and equipment costs to generate detailed project estimates.
- Risk Assessment - They identify potential financial risks and uncertainties to develop contingency budgets and minimize cost overruns.
- Resource Planning - The engineer collaborates with project managers to allocate resources efficiently based on accurate cost forecasts.
