Responsibilities

Role Type: Shop Floor / Factory Based

Reporting To: Maintenance Head

Role Objective: We are hiring a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to manage mechanical maintenance and machine reliability for furniture manufacturing machinery.

The role focuses on machine uptime, preventive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, and basic automation/software support.

Candidate must have strong mechanical troubleshooting capability with exposure to production machinery.





Must-Have Skills (Primary Screening Criteria)

- Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience- Preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery

- Experience with CNC or automated machines- Knowledge of pneumatics and machine components

- Basic understanding of PLC-controlled machines

- Experience working in a manufacturing/factory environment- Machine alignment, calibration, and servicing experience

Preferred Machine Exposure (High Priority)

- CNC routers/machining centers

- Edge banding machines

- Panel saws

- Wide belt sanding/brush sanding machines

- Drilling and boring machines

- Press machines

- Spray finishing equipment

- Dust extraction systems

- Experience with machinery from manufacturers such as HOMAG Group, Biesse, SCM Group (or similar woodworking machinery)

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of furniture production machines

- Diagnose mechanical failures and implement corrective actions

- Support machine automation and control systems

- Maintain machine accuracy and reliability

- Reduce machine downtime and improve productivity

- Maintain maintenance records and manage spare parts

- Support installation and commissioning of new machines

Experience: 3–7 years of experience working with Mechanical Maintenance

Educational Background: Mechanical Engineering (Preferred) ; B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)Industry Experience (Priority Order)1.
