Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Public Relations Specialist to lead media outreach for our U.S. client. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Delhi, India. (Travel for client meetings only, otherwise work from home)

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience pitching stories to U.S. journalists, understands the American media landscape, and can independently drive earned media opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute PR campaigns for clients targeting the U.S. market.
- Research, identify, and build relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and media outlets across the United States.
- Draft ideas for press releases, media pitches, bylined articles, and other PR materials.
- Secure media interviews, expert commentary opportunities, and earned media placements.
- Create media lists tailored to client industries and campaign objectives.
- Monitor news trends and identify timely media opportunities.
- Track media coverage and prepare campaign performance reports.
- Collaborate with internal content, and client servicing teams to execute campaigns.




- Ensure all communications align with each client's messaging and business objectives.
- Support reputation management and crisis communication initiatives when required.

Qualifications

- 1+ years of experience in Public Relations, preferably within an agency workplace.
- Proven experience conducting media outreach to U.S.-based journalists and publications.
- Strong understanding of the U.S. media landscape, including business, technology, startup, and lifestyle media.
- Excellent written English with exceptional pitching and storytelling abilities.
- Experience writing press releases, media pitches, and executive thought leadership content.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term media relationships.
- Familiarity with media databases and PR tools
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts.
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication or related fields

- Existing network of U.S. media contacts.
- Experience working with international clients.
- Ability to identify newsworthy story angles and convert them into media opportunities.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working across U.S. time zones when required.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently.

Compensation - Upto 6 LPA, depending on skills and experience
