Key Responsibilities

A. Design & Technical Planning

- Prepare electrical layouts, single line diagrams (SLD), and wiring schematics for solar installations.
- Calculate load requirements, inverter sizing, cable sizing, and protection systems.
- Assist in system design for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.

B. Installation & Execution

- Supervise and execute electrical installation of:
- Solar PV panels
- Inverters (on-grid / off-grid / hybrid)
- AC & DC cabling
- Junction boxes, earthing, and lightning protection systems
- Ensure installations are done as per approved drawings and technical standards.
- Coordinate with technicians and helpers during site execution.

C. Testing, Commissioning & Troubleshooting

- Conduct testing and commissioning of solar systems.
- Perform insulation resistance tests, voltage checks, and performance testing.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in solar power systems.
- Ensure proper synchronization with grid (for on-grid systems).

Maintenance & Service Support

- Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of installed systems.
- Attend service calls and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
- Maintain service records and site visit reports.

E. Safety & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to electrical safety norms and company safety policies.
- Follow statutory regulations, MNRE guidelines, and local electricity board norms.
- Ensure proper use of PPE at sites.

F. Coordination & Documentation

- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and vendors.
- Prepare and maintain:
- Daily progress reports
- Site completion reports
- As-built drawings
- Support inspections by electricity board and other authorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
