Job Description – Maintenance & Fixture Engineer / Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and technically inclined freshers with an ITI Fitter or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering qualification to join our Maintenance & Fixture team. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in machine maintenance, fixture maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring smooth operation of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior engineers and technicians in machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Perform routine preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Support in fixture installation, maintenance, modification, and repair.
- Identify mechanical issues in machines, fixtures, and production equipment.
- Assist in checking and maintaining CNC, VMC, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Use basic hand tools and measuring instruments for maintenance and fixture-related work.
- Support fixture setting, alignment, and correction as required.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance activities and breakdowns.
- Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards.




- Coordinate with the Production team to minimize machine downtime.
- Learn and develop skills in mechanical maintenance, fixtures, and industrial equipment.

Required Technical Skills

- Basic knowledge of Mechanical Maintenance.
- Basic understanding of CNC and VMC machines.
- Knowledge of fitting tools and workshop practices.
- Basic understanding of bearings, shafts, couplings, pneumatic and hydraulic systems will be an advantage.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of fixture maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good problem-solving and learning attitude.

Eligibility

- ITI Fitter – Freshers can apply.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – Freshers can apply.
- Candidates with 0–1 year of experience in maintenance or fixture work may also apply.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Good technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Candidates residing in or around Talegaon, Chakan, Pimpri-Chinchwad, or nearby areas will be preferred.
