M.A in English Job Role: Assistant Professor / Professor – English (M.A.)

An M.A. English Professor is responsible for teaching English language and literature, enhancing students’ communication skills, and contributing to academic and institutional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English Literature, Language, Communication Skills to UG/PG students

- Prepare lesson plans, study material, and assessments

- Conduct lectures, seminars, group discussions, and presentations

- Evaluate assignments, exams, and projects

- Mentor students in academic writing, public speaking, and career skills

- Encourage research, paper publications, and seminars

- Participate in curriculum development as per university norms

- Support examinations, admissions,



NAAC/NBA documentation

- Take part in college activities, workshops, and faculty development programs

Eligibility

- M.A. in English

- NET / SET / PhD preferred (as per UGC norms)

- Teaching experience preferred (freshers may apply where allowed)

Skills Required

- Excellent spoken and written English

- Strong classroom management skills

- Ability to engage and motivate students

- Research and academic writing skills

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
