Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations, managing financial reporting, and supporting business decision-making through accurate financial analysis. The candidate should possess solid leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in ERP systems and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate and manage internal, statutory, tax, and external audits.
- Prepare and review GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory filings as applicable.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain strong internal controls and recommend process improvements.
- Support financial planning and business decision-making through financial analysis and MIS reporting.
- Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet schedules.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation,



and asset verification.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff while ensuring high-quality work standards.
- Participate in ERP implementation, process automation, and finance transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com).
- CA, CMA, CPA, or ACCA qualification is preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or Tally ERP.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in manufacturing, IT, services, or multinational organizations.
- Knowledge of IFRS/Ind AS/GAAP reporting standards.
- Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Experience in team leadership and stakeholder management.
- Process improvement and internal control expertise.
