Role Description
We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable System Administrator who will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the College's computer systems, servers, networks, and IT infrastructure. The incumbent will ensure smooth and secure functioning of all IT resources across academic, administrative, and examination-related operations, and will provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students.
- Key Responsibilities
- 1. Google Workspace Administration & Security
- User Lifecycle Management: Provision, update, suspend, and offboard user accounts, group lists, and shared drives.
- Security & Access Control: Enforce security policies such as 2-Step Verification (2SV), single sign-on (SSO), and context-aware access rules.
- Directory & Organizational Structure: Maintain Organizational Units (OUs), domain configuration, custom admin roles, and license assignments.
- Data Protection & Backup: Configure retention policies, handle Google Vault rules for compliance, and manage platform data backup/recovery procedures.
- Endpoint & Mobile Management: Manage corporate mobile devices and laptop endpoints, enforcing remote wipe policies when necessary.
- 2. ERP & CRM Data Management
- Data Hygiene & Accuracy: Perform regular data cleanup, deduplication, and record updates across ERP and CRM platforms.
- Access & Permission Controls: Set up user roles, field-level visibility, and access permissions in the ERP/CRM according to team functions.
- Import & Migration Operations: Prepare, format, and upload bulk data sets (e.g., customer lists, inventory updates, financial logs) into business systems.
- Data Auditing & Compliance: Audit system logs regularly to track data modifications, ensure schema consistency, and uphold data privacy standards.
- 3. Technical Support
- * Tier 2/3 Technical Support: Act as the primary escalation point for unresolved Google Workspace, CRM, or ERP access and usage issues.
Qualifications & Eligibility
- B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (MCA or equivalent also acceptable); relevant certifications (CCNA, MCSA, RHCE, or similar) preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in system/network administration, preferably in an educational institution.
- Sound knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration, networking protocols, and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, biometric/attendance software, and campus IT infrastructure is desirable.
Required Skills:
- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of network security and data backup practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with faculty, staff, students, and external vendors.
- Willingness to be available for urgent IT support, including during examinations and admission periods.
Location: On-Campus
Salary: No Bar for Deserving Candidates.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
