Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr SDET) to join our dynamic engineering team. The Sr SDET will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced test automation frameworks, tools, and strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in software development, a passion for quality assurance, and the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient test automation frameworks for various application layers (UI, API, database, performance).
- Write, execute, and analyze automated tests for new features and existing functionalities across different platforms and environments.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback loops.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Lead and mentor junior SDETs, providing guidance on best practices, code reviews, and technical challenges.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on testability, quality, and potential risks.
- Develop and implement performance, load, and stress tests to identify bottlenecks and ensure system scalability.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new testing tools, technologies, and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to the overall quality strategy and continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the entire software development process.
