We are seeking a Junior Software Developer with a strong foundation in Laravel, PHP, and Python. Exposure to React.js will be considered a plus. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our senior developers and business teams to design, develop, and maintain applications that support our financial services operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel (PHP).
- Write clean, secure, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
- Work with Python scripts for automation, reporting, or integration tasks.
- Contribute to API development and third-party integrations.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
- Assist in front-end development tasks (React.js exposure is an advantage).
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT,
or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on development experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of PHP and Laravel framework.
- Working knowledge of Python for backend scripts or automation.
- Familiarity with React.js (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL databases.
- Understanding of REST APIs, Git version control, and MVC architecture.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
