Summary – Role Overview:

An experienced and highly motivated SAP Delivery Manager to lead and scale SAP delivery capabilities within our Global Capability Center (GCC) in India.

This role is ideal for a hands on SAP leader who brings strong implementation experience, deep understanding of the SAP ecosystem, and a proven ability to build, mentor, and operate high performing offshore teams delivering Build & Run services.

As an SAP Delivery Manager, you will be accountable to build Craftsmanship & Team for end-to-end SAP delivery, ensuring high quality outcomes across implementations, enhancements, integrations, and ongoing AMS operations, while partnering closely with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Execution Leadership

-
Own end-to-end SAP delivery across Build and Run portfolios from offshore, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, timelines, and cost.

Together with the Global team, deliver the SAP implementation programs, roll outs, and transformations (greenfield, brownfield, or selective carve-outs).

Govern SAP AMS / Run services including incident, problem, change, and enhancement management.

Establish delivery best practices, KPIs, SLAs, and operational governance models.

SAP Domain & Technical Leadership (HandsOn)

Bring strong hands on SAP experience (functional and/or technical) with the ability to guide teams on design, solutioning and operations.

Act as a trusted SAP advisor for complex issues, solution decisions, and risk mitigation.

Drive adoption of SAP standard practices, clean core principles, and SAP recommended architectures (including S/4HANA).

Stay current with SAP roadmap, tools, and innovations and translate them into delivery excellence.

GCC & Offshore Capability Building

Build and scale SAP delivery teams in the offshore GCC from the ground up.

Establish SAP craftsmanship by defining competency frameworks, skill matrices,



and learning paths.

Hire, mentor, coach, and retain high performing SAP professionals across functional, technical, and integration roles.

Foster a strong delivery culture focused on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management

Partner with global business leaders, IT stakeholders, and onshore teams to align priorities and expectations.

Serve as the primary point of escalation for SAP delivery issues and risks.

Communicate delivery status, performance metrics, and improvement plans to senior leadership.

Transformation & Continuous Improvement

Drive operational excellence initiatives, automation, and standardization across SAP delivery.

Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, delivery throughput, and quality.

Support transition of SAP services from onshore or third party implementation partners into the GCC.

Responsible for the synergy with other teams (in India and Belgium) and directions, so that the team contributes significantly to the global process.

Identifying and resolving problems, determining quality improvements and implementing change.

Shares information with team through frequent, open, quality, two-way communication with a sense of direction.

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

-
Minimum 10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 5+ years in a Delivery Manager / Delivery Lead role at a leadership level.

Robust hands-on SAP background (Functional or Technical) with real implementation experience.

Proven experience leading large scale SAP implementations and AMS (Build & Run) services.

-
Solid understanding of the SAP ecosystem (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, integrations, upgrades, enhancements).

Demonstrated success in building and scaling offshore SAP teams in a GCC or global delivery model.

Strong knowledge of delivery governance, financial management, resourcing, and risk management.

-
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Experience working with global clients across multiple geographies.
