Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java API Developer to design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Experience: 5 + years of experience as a Senior Backend Engineer / Java Developer.
- Scope: Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot, ensuring code quality and system performance.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to junior/mid-level developers and assist in overseeing workstreams to ensure architectural alignment.
- Architecture: Build and maintain scalable Microservices, ensuring robust service-to-service communication (REST, gRPC, or Messaging).
- Pipeline Automation: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment, reducing manual overhead.
- Cloud and Containers: Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration via Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation, optimization,



and observability to enhance the efficiency of development practices.
- Database Management: Writing and optimizing SQL queries (Oracle/ SQL) and managing data persistence layers.
- Observability: Implement logging, tracing, and monitoring to ensure 24/7 system health and rapid incident response.
- Hands-on Lead: Solving complex problems, performing POCs, creating frameworks, and ensuring high unit test coverage.
- DevOps Culture: Solid familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment.

Qualifications

Education:Education: B.Tech/B.E (IT) or higher.

Competencies Desired

- Java (Backend): Minimum 5 years (Java 17/21) - Mandatory
- Spring Boot: Minimum 4 years (Spring Security, Spring Data JPA) - Mandatory
- Microservices: (Mandatory) REST, gRPC, or Messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Cloud Experience: 2+ years in Azure (AKS, Functions, SQL) or AWS.
- DevOps and IaC: Terraform and CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions) - Mandatory
- Containers: Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) - Mandatory
- Testing: JUnit 5, Mockito, and Testcontainers - Mandatory
- Frontend Technology: Knowledge/Experience (approx. 40%) to assist in full-stack troubleshooting.
- Legacy Modernization: Experience in transitioning legacy systems to modern microservices.
